What is the reason for this?
Waiting lists in childcare have been rising for a while and continue to do so. NOS reports that the average waiting time is now a year, up from six months a year and a half ago.
The reason for these waiting lists is that childcare organisations have to deal with tightened quality requirements and, as a result, find it harder to get good staff. Adjusted rules also influence this development. For instance, pedagogical staff are now only allowed to take care of a maximum of three babies instead of four.
The recruitment of new top pedagogical staff is also a problem; few people choose this training, which will only exacerbate the staff shortage.
At Alles Kidz, we have the luxury of being able to put together a super team. We do not yet have a waiting list either. You can visit us the same week. Feel free to drop by for a tour or an informal chat!
