There are all kinds of different forms of care. We understand that this can sometimes be unclear. Therefore, today answers to the 8 most frequently asked questions about our BSO.

When can my child attend BSO?

The BSO is for school-age children aged 4 to 12.

Do I have to bring my own food and drinks?

No, you do not have to bring anything with you. We work with all-in rates. This means that the supervision, all the activities we do, as well as the food and drinks and a healthy snack are all included in the price.

Will you pick up my child from school?

When your children’s school places the BSO at a childcare centre so that that of Alles Kidz Childcare, transport between the school and Alles Kidz is also arranged. This applies to most schools in Tilburg.

What does BSO stand for?

BSO is the abbreviation for Out of School Care. It actually says exactly what it is. Care outside school hours.

When is your BSO open?

Our BSO is open every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 14:15 to 18:30h during school weeks. On Wednesdays, we are open from 12:30h to 18:30h. During school holidays and study days, we are open full days from 07:30h to 18:30h.

Do I get a supplement for the BSO?

It is possible to get childcare allowance for the BSO. Whether you are entitled to this and exactly how much depends on a number of factors. Your income, the number of hours you work or study, on which days and how long your child attends BSO all count in this calculation. Feel free to ask us if you have any questions about this, we will be happy to help.

Are the BSO staff trained?

Even though the focus at BSO is on relaxation and not on learning, that does not mean that the requirements for a pedagogical staff member are different from those at school, for example. We only work with qualified staff members.

Can my children also attend BSO during holidays?

Certainly! During holidays and on study days, our BSO is open from 07:30 to 18:30. We always provide fun and varied activities, but when it’s the holidays, we go the extra mile and really go on an adventure. Inside and outside the BSO. We organise pyjama days, go outside for a water balloon fight and make fun trips to the cinema, for example. So we make the holiday period extra fun.
