Every year, an average of 140,000 children are treated in the Emergency Department after an accident at home. Most children are between zero and four years old. Half of the injuries are caused by a fall and these usually involve injuries to the head, neck or cervical region. Children can also be injured at school and in traffic. Because especially with (small) children, an accident is in a small corner.
So there are plenty of reasons to pay attention to first aid specifically aimed at children.
All employees at Alles Kidz Childcare have a children’s first aid certificate. Refresher courses are held annually to ensure that everyone stays up-to-date.
