Cosy, baking peppernuts together!
The time for speculaas, peppernuts and other sweets has arrived! The supermarkets are full of them, but what could be more fun than baking them together?
This is what you need:
250 grams self-rising baking flour
-100 grams butter
-125 grams brown soft sugar
-1-2 tablespoons ‘biscuit & speculoos’ spices
50ml semi-skimmed milk
-pinch of salt
-hand mixer (you can also do it with your hands, just as fun!)
-baking tray
-baking paper
-baking bowl
These are the steps:
- Preheat the oven to 170°C.
- Mix the cream butter gently in the batter bowl.
- Then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well (can also be done with your hands).
- Make it into one big ball!
- Line the baking tray with the baking paper and start turning small balls of about 2 cm.
- Put the balls on the baking paper and press them down a little, this will give a good peppercorn effect!
- Put them in the oven for about 15 minutes and then let them cool off. They need to harden a little more.
Enjoy your meal!
